Thanks to all those that attended on Saturday, especially those that drove in from Richmond & Williamsburg. We had some great discussions, and the largest attendance to date, which unfortunately meant that we didn’t all get to talk to everyone, but I think we tried to talk to as many people as possible. We did do some round table discussions about various topics, and got to meet some new people.
So thanks again to those that attended, and we’ll hope to see you there the next time we have a meeting.

Thanks for setting this up, Simon. The conversation was great, and I saw lots of good networking going around. Seemed that anyone — regardless of skill set or interest — fit in and found people to talk with.
Great stuff. Let’s do it more often!

Have you guys had much luck with the “Meetups”?
I’m down in Greenville SC and I get an email about every week about the local Meetup meetings, but I’ve never gone to one.
Did you have to take the initiative and get it all organized?

Simon, One of these days I’ll have to plan an east coast trip around your Meetup. I haven’t been back since we moved, but my wife continues to improve, so I am sure we will be out for a visit this summer. Of course, we’d rather go to the beach for vacay.

@Drew, we’ve done 4 of them so far, and each of the first 3 had about 7 people. There was one that was attempted and abandoned due to lack of interest, but we gave it a few months, and this particular meeting had ~16 people there, so it looks like it’s taking off a little bit. Now, we’re hitting the conference season, so it may be hard to get as many there next time, but we’ll see…
@Anthony, most definitely, and glad to hear that she’s doing better
